2024 All In Sagrantino
Turkish delight, raspberry and rosewater — bold, expressive Eden Valley Sagrantino.
Bold, modern Barossa & Eden Valley wines — led by Sagrantino.
The Angry Rabbit is the adventurous sister brand of Heathvale Wines, created from our family vineyard story in Keyneton, Eden Valley. Heathvale sits in the high country of the Barossa, at approximately 430 metres altitude, where the Garden of Promise vineyard grows Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Sagrantino. The Heathvale story dates back to the 1850s, with the Heath family among the early English settlers to plant vines near Keyneton. The vineyard was later owned and developed by the March family, with vines progressively replanted and the oldest current plantings dating from 1987.
The Angry Rabbit began in 2005, when Trevor March’s grandson sketched an “angry rabbit” on a coffee cup. Trevor, Heathvale’s viticulturist and custodian, embraced the design and trademarked it in 2006. Today, co-owners James March and Anson Mui continue the brand through Heathvale Wines, giving The Angry Rabbit a more youthful, creative and unconventional identity.
The wines are small-batch, expressive and modern in style, led by Sagrantino as a hero variety and supported by fresh, vibrant Barossa and Eden Valley expressions. The brand also uses AI-generated label artwork to create bold, individual designs for each wine.
