From Arila Gardens' oldest estate block, planted in the early 1900s, the Single Vineyard Shiraz is an alluring deep magenta-purple. Fragrant and enchanting, it layers black and red fruits with warm baking spices, milk chocolate, pastry crust and toast. The palate is mouth-filling — mulberry, morello cherry and boysenberry forming a succulent core extended by super-fine, silky tannin — and the fruit flows with impressive length and drive.
